Quality use of medicines in aged care

This work seeks to improve use of medicines in aged care.

Most of the work completed is in collaboration with aged care organisations and health professionals providing services in aged care.

The key ongoing project is EMBRACE, the MRFF-funded Knowledge brokers for evidence translation to improve quality use of medicines in residential aged care. This project is led by Prof Simon Bell, Centre for Medicine Use and Safety, Monash.
